So today i recently got texted by a random number asking if ill buy his cub cadet 1250. i asked, "how much?", he said "500". Looked in the pictures as if it hasn't ran in years. Very dusty. I wanted it for parts, so i said, "well one, i dont have the space, the money, or the time..". he said, "if you come and get it ill give it to you for 150$". I said "i still dont have the time or money".. He went to 100$ still I declined. Then he said "well how much you want it for?" i said "50$?" He says "come and get it". I say that "i dont have space. Is there another way?" Then i think. He wants it gone.. So i ask. "If I dont buy it its going to the junkyard right?" he said yes. I then say "Lets meet at the junkyard, ill rob all parts from it i want and then ill pay for it to get accepted into the yard." he said "yes". Now i have essentially every part i want from another 1250 without needing to take the tractor. What a deal!

Now ill just have to find a time!

It looks pretty good actually, just take that dust off and it's whole appearance will change. Seems like a great deal!

Good price!

To bad you couldn't keep it.  Maybe someone else will see it and take it home from the junk yard.

Looks like it's in better cosmetic condition than your 1250 is. I would of grabbed the whole tractor and made room for it. Probably why I have so many tractors sitting behind my shop lol. You can never have enough parts or whole tractors.

Well, you see my place is full. I have 7 tractors. One of which is a full sized tractor. I’m trying to get room, but you also have to realize, he changed his mind and wanted to sell it for parts. Hell put it up soon but I’ll get the parts. He is selling it piece by piece. Hopefully it goes well for him. I also would’ve grabbed it if I had the space for it. Believe me, I’ve tried. Only other place is in my fields or front yard which is a no.

Good thing I am currently making a list of things to part from it. Essentially everything but the frame. Tommorow I’m going to get the parts. He said no hood though. I really wanted that as it was in GREAT shape compared to mine. I’ve actually got at least 20 different people come to me and ask if I want their tractor and they always give me a REALLY good price. I just made an ad saying I will buy tractor parts. Make one and maybe you’ll get some too!
