Hello. Just got my grandfather's old Ford LGT 195 and I am considering restoring it and using it. It has a snow blade, a snow blower, and a lawn deck.
However, some of the drive components seem to be missing. The lawn deck has 1 pulley in the middle, but none otherwise. The snow blower seems to have everything, but the tractor does not have an electric clutch or the wiring. Switch is there, but a single solid mounted pulley on the front of the crankshaft.
Hoping someone has photos of how the attachments go on, and what I need to do to get a clutch for it.

Thanks!

Any pictures of the tractor and attachments. Don’t see to many of those here in PEI. Nice to have attachments with it.

Welcome to GTT. You've got a great tractor. Take your time with it. Do all service on it, clean it, and enjoy having a machine that will make life easier. There are more manuals for the tractor in our Manuals Section(its free). It isn't yours until you post pictures. Good Luck, Rick

Don't know much about the 195s, but I have smaller LGTs (100-165). My mower decks look like they have 1 pulley, the other pulleys/belt are under a cover. Yours may be the same. As for the clutch, that may be a problem. I have spares for the smaller LGTs, but they may not be the same

Will throw some photos up soon. It has been sitting in a shed for the last 20+ years and I haven't moved it yet. Want to make sure it is worth my time and whatever money I will need to throw at it before I drag it out to work on it.

If I can figure out the missing electromagnetic clutch issue, it will definitely get some TLC.

ON the clutch, try to get us a pic of what you have and the crank dia. there! Someone may have a clutch to fit it.

So far these are the photos I have. Shows the crankshaft, front lower where I am guessing another pulley should go, and the Vin.Crankshaft.jpg Front lower.jpg Serial.jpg

Can't seem to download any of the files. Gives me an error saying the 2 files I downloaded earlier were not completed yet and I don't have permission.

That is a challenge for some folks here. I'll send you a PM, look up by your user name for a notification.

Took another look today.

Will definitely need to find an electromagnetic clutch. It seems it bolts onto the crankshaft. Crankshaft diameter is 1 7/16".

Not sure where to post asking if anyone has one of these, but that would be my starting point.

Those clutches can be hard to find! A lot of Onan engines had that size.
