I am new to this Submission. But id like to submit my mtd 460 (penncraft 1427) to be wherever it can be. As long as its somewhere, like on the gallery page. This is when i got it looking the best of shape.. right before the Westminster tractor show. Ill try and get some better photos next Tuesday. If I am submitting this incorrectly then please let me know so I can fix it. thanks.
(The last 3 are the 3 paint jobs. First was a crappy old white and silver. Was very similar to when I found it in the junk pile.. it was a solid grey/silver back half, then a darker white for the hood. Then I painted it the same. Then I painted it new Holland blue. And a off white back half. That back half paint is the same for now. “Needs back half repainted). Then finnaly, I painted it a farm all red. The original paint was a off white and teal. If I would’ve known that it was that color at the time I would have painted it that..)
again, its not THE best tractor here on the forum. Alot still could be done.
Like:
a way better paint job
engine and tranny full rebuild (although still working)
original color
new bearings
etc.
All listed above has not been done. heres what has been done to the tractor:
several paint jobs
rims painted
new air cleaner
carb cleaned
new tires
deck removed
new drive belt
tranny woodruff key replaced (big pain in the a**)
new fasteners
deck linkage removed
of course, new oil, gas, fluids.. Although i need to change the oil very soon...
If i ever do another paint job it will be original color. Although (I dont like the original color), that would be what id paint it... I like the red color. The red color looks the best in my opinion.
She still has many hours left in her! When somthing breaks, i will repair it. And keep repairing it till the frame splits in half!

We used to have a monthly contest where tractors were submitted and voted on. The winner got their tractor on the front page for a month and then went into the featured tractor section from the main page. We haven't done it since April. If you want to put this in the gallery, Go to the gallery from the main forum page and there will be a way to upload it there. On my screen gallery is 4th from the left across the top.

That's a software issue! That may be fixed sometime in 2024!

I got the same thing when I tried. Didn't realize there was an issue here too.
