I found this S32 (edit: I now know it to be an S24) a couple of miles from my house. The seller says it is a '60 model (?) but I have not checked the numbers yet, and I don't think S24s were built until July of '66. The previous owner removed the starter/generator and installed a foreign car starter but a starter/generator is included as is a mowing deck. It runs and drives. I did not have my trailer with me but I will be going back for it.

My plan for now is to clean it up and tune it up as needed, change the oil & fluids and enjoy it as is. I will restore it after some other projects are finished.

I think that's actually a S-24 not a S-32.  It has the Speedex forward and reverse transmission on it and the S-32 has a 4 speed Peerless transaxle that sits on top of the frame with final drives on each axle shaft like a Power King.  Either way still a nice machine.  I've got an early model of the 24 that has the rounded hood.  A little awkward to get on but fun to drive

It has the 32 decals (actually S24, see edit) on the side panels behind the grill and it does have the forward-neutral-reverse trans.

Edit: I beg pardon. The side pics I took are not clear/close enough for you to see but the decals say 24 NOT 32. Sorry, had one of them senior moments I reckon.
