What’s the difference between a K341S and a 341SA? Also how many fens does a thicker cylinder wall K341 engine have?

A 13 fin block has a thicker cylinder wall which can be bored out to accept a 4.000" piston. Chevy 327 or 4.000" aftermarket piston. Even though a 350 piston is the same diameter the piston pin is located to low on the skirt to be used in a Kohler block. Piston will hit the head,to much popup.

 

Letter model designations are as follows:

Designates Oil Pan Type

EP = Generator Set

P =   Pump Model

Q =  Quiet Model

R =   Gear Reduction

S =   Electric Start

T =   Retractable Start
