I'm sickened and saddened by all of the scammers that have a GTTalk.com username and have messaged me in response to a Wanted to Buy ad that I have in the classifieds section. I've received more than 1 scammer respond to my ad. They PM me, referring me "to a friend that has one that they will probably sell." They all have gmail (hard to trace) email addresses.

Then when you email them, they respond with very generic info and a price that's "shipped". When you ask for pictures, they do a Google images search on the tractor I'm looking for and send me pictures they clearly found on Google Images.

How do I know? Because the last piece of s%$t emailed me pictures of my own tractor that come up in a Google search.

My intent in this post is mearly just a warning - internet scammers are everywhere, including this wonderful forum.

My suggestion when considering a purchase is to ALWAYS request a picture of the said tractor, or part with a personalized note in the picture. I've even requested pictures with the seller's hand in the picture. This tip will often weed out the scams as after that request, they more than likely won't respond.

Just a heads up is all.
