I have a Ford 140, built by Jackson. I was don’t know what year they are and would like to now how to find out? And I would like to now if the tractors are a rare number at all. Are these tractors rarer then the 80,100:120 or are they all the same?

  Welcome to the forum! It is a pre-1972 model for sure. Right above the front axle on the LH side should be the model #. These were built from 1969-1971 by Jacobsen for Ford.

Welcome....Like Kenny said 66-71. If it has the electric PTO clutch, it is a later one. They are nice tractors.

I have one too, mine has the electric pto clutch... still has headlights and tail light. Mine also has the electric lift on the drawbar, was that something somebody added on, I wonder? Although, it is painted Ford blue and appears to be original to tractor.

I could not the believe the pulling power it has with the hydrostatic drive! I just use it around the property to pull out logs for firewood, drag my dirt driveway. It's quite a mule!

Ford 140 is the same as the Jacobson Super Chief 1450. Just orange instead of Ford Blue.
