Good day - it is 29°F and winter is back.  Got about 2" of wet snow last night with some more to come today according to the guessers.  The winds are supposed to pick up and we will only see a high of 30° so could make for some icky wet hard drifts with a low of 11° tonight.

Good morning - beautiful day for blowing snow.  At 6:15 am it was 14°F and now warmed up to 20° and the sun is shining.  There is virtually no wind so it was three hours of great seat time as I removed what Mr. Wind and the Snow Fairy left in my driveway yesterday and last night.  According to the guessers it will be sunny all day with a high of 35° but tomorrow we get another taste of sprring with a forecast of sunshine and 48°F - will wait and see if it actually happens.

Much cooler today with an overcast dawn at -18C. and the thin red line of heavy snowfall warning zipping across my computer. No snow yet but the wind is picking up and it's nasty out there!

Greetings and welcome to daylight savings time.  Right now we are at 31°F and the guessers say sunshine with a high of 49°.  There is a light breeze out of the southwest - looks like another keeper for this time of year.

The snowfall warning was RIGHT this time. Tough little blizzard whipped (40-50 m.p,h,) in yesterday about 3:00 p.m .and dumped 14" of snow by 11.00 p.m.  Today dawned bleakly with overcast skies at -20C. and fine drifting snow. Typical March storm, dang it!

Greetings - it is 42°F and the day is just starting to break - watched Mr Moon yawn as he prepared to hide for the day - looked right full of himself.  Looks like a cloudy day with a high of 51° and rain later on this afternnon according to the guessers.  Sounds like Lorna gets to play in the white stuff again to try and locate what are probably now buried paths.  Cheer up as spring is just around the corner - my brother said he saw his first Robin of the season yesterday.  Hope that it is a sign of good things to come and not a bird with a poor sense of direction and timing.

Yup, I was shoveling paths yesterday, might finish up today. This close to spring I don't make them as wide as I do in the early winter....the sun will soon take care of them for me.  Today dawned bright and cheery at -25C .with no wind. it should get up to around -10C. by afternoon

Greetings - it is 39°F and the temperature is dropping - down from 45° at 6:30.  Been raining since yesterday afternoon and is supposed to stop this afternoon chaging over to some snow.  Went to ffed the birds this morning and there are now several excellent bird bath areas on the lawn - hopefully they will soak in once the tap is tunred off.  According to the guessers we might see a little sunshine around 5:00 pm and a low of 28° with a North West wind.
