My father in law loved LOVED Gilson tractors we have several and what feels like our own gilson store in our basement with many MANY parts to gilsons and frames. Currently we are trying to sell a Gilson, we don't know the age, it is a loader. We are unsure of price though my husband who grew up with his dad traveling states over from NC to get Gilson's feels it should be $1500. This runs my husband starts it every other day. We don't have a use for it and my husband wants to sell it. I know we both would love to see it go to someone who loves Gilson like his Dad did.

Any help would be appreciated and if anyone is interested let us know.

Thank you and if you know any place to offer any other of the tons of parts we have related to Gilson please let us know it would be greatly appreciated.

$1500 Is certainly a fair price for that tractor running and operating with loader. If the loader is complete and all original brackets it is worth $1500 alone. Gilson and Montgomery Wards garden tractors have a small following so tractor alone would be a tough sell unless offered for a low price. Nice looking set up

As far as the other parts, Ebay is your best bet to sell. The market has shrunk ft.or these tractors, which is a shame since they are so cool looking and well built.

Fo you have any attachments for sale?

Around here you would get $1500 all day long with that....I would ask $2000 and let them talk you down a bit.

edit.....I bet this is the same tractor that one of our members nabbed....nice

It is in fact the same rig.  Starts with no problems.  Works as described.  Not sure if the original poster monitors the forum anymore since its sold...if a Moderator can change post to sold, that would be great.
