I call this changing of the guard. The first weekend of May I always change out the 1250 with snow Blower for the 1476 with tiller. The 1250 will now rest in the spot the 1476 had all winter.

Having a tractor for each implement is more fun than having a bunch of implements for one tractor

That sounds like what I will have as soon as I get the engine back into one of mine, have 4 of the same machines, one each with a deck, a snowblower, a snow blade and soon to be 1 with a rear mount

Jerome,

Any reason you are using the 1250 for the snowblower and the 1476 for the tiller?  I have found with the wet snow we often get, I like all the hp I can get for the snowblower.

Poncho and Dodge,

My wife suggested that perhaps it would be easier to have a tractor dedicated to an implement rather than to be switching the implements out during the year, and who am I to argue?  ; )

I sure agree with that.

I don't care how easy it is to switch implements on any particular tractor .. it's still easier to switch tractors than it is to switch implements.

When I lived up in Buckley, Michigan, I had two Toro Groundmaster tractors.

One was equipped with a mower deck and the other had a snow blower and a heated cab.

Luckily, down here in Madison, Indiana, I only need one tractor with a mower.

No more snow blowing for me ..... Yahoo ....
