I'm trying to piece together bits of info on the Food Machinery Corp. (FMC)'s transition into the Bolens Huski Ridemaster. The 1st FMC Model A was introduced in 1946 in the color of red. I have no written info on the color of the wheels. I have seen yellow, red, black and white. Does anyone know? I will attach a file and then ask a couple of more questions for you FMC/Bolens collectors.

Welcome to GTtalk.

FMC came out with the Bean cutler in 1947.   I own number 18 off the line and I also know were the prototype for the Bean is.

The tractor was 100% red wheels and all.

I see a lot of old info that no longer is correct in your PDF.

I keep a serial number registry for both The FMC bean cutler and The bolens ridemaster If you like more info feel free to PM your number and I can give you a call today.

Thanks Jerome

Nice to know you do a registry file. We have a Model A, SN J29627.  I would like to know which info you know to be incorrect and what you have found to correct for all us history buffs. The more we help each other the more factual the history story.

I prefer no phone calls but would like to see any FMC info and sources posted for all. I am not always available because of my schedule but would like to continue any discussions on the FMC history.
