I know most of you guys really dont know me very well as I am a fairly new member on here. I am requesting that you keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers. My wife left and took our 2 boys and said she had issues to work out. I begged for her to stay but it was no use. She left a week ago yesterday. My wife and my boys mean everything to me and I am severely crushed. A lot has transpired in this week but they are still not home and probably will not be for at least 2 weeks, maybe longer. My motivation is gone. Nothing seems important to me. I have talked to my younger son 4 times and that has helped a bit, but its not the same as holding him. Hes 4-1/2. I havent talked to my 10 year old for reasons that I do not know. Anyway, Everyone on here is a great bunch of guys and you all have helped me though dumb as my questions have been. I just ask that all of you keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers through this time. I appreciate it all. Thank You!

Sorry to hear of the family issues. I hope things work out well for all of you! Been there/done that! It's a challenge, but you can get through it!

Sometimes we (men) can't see what's going on in front of us, unless we get hit up side the head.( my wife told me that).

Hope the two of you can work it out, your family will be in my thought's. This is a good place to vent when needed.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. We are living in difficult times...pressures from work, children, the economy & the list goes on. It takes a strong marriage to keep things stable. My wife & I have soon to be forty one years behind us & we have had our challenges. We are strong Christians in our faith to God, I always tell people we don't argue we have intense fellowship. Try to get together with your wife just the two of you & talk...try to find out what her issues are or is there something you should do or is there forgiveness needed in the relationship somewhere. This didn't happen over night one of you had to see it breaking apart. Everyone says its got to be a 50/50 give or take. That sounds easier than it is sometimes. If you both want this to work it will. I will be praying for your whole family because this will effect everyone. Be strong, we all get knocked down from time to time but we get back up & to be much stronger than before. If you need to PM me. God's blessings upon your whole family.

I'll pray for you . I've been in that situation also, mine had a boy friend and I did loose out after 16 yrs. You will get through it and don't be afraid to talk it helps.

Sorry you have been put in this situation.    Sometimes life is one step forward and two steps back, but I believe that is so we recognize and appreciate the good times even more.

Thank you everyone for your kind and uplifting comments. They make me feel like everything is going to be ok. Maybe not today or tomorrow like I would like, but I see it as a possibility! Thanks again.  Patrick
