I just heard on the news that the death toll was at 21 and only 9 children died. Still to many especially children.

It's hard to know where to shelter. They tell you if your driving, to get out of your car and seek cover in an under road culvert. But, I've heard stories of people being fired out of a culvert like a spit wad.

The Patriot Guard will be there to protect the families.
The last time WBC showed up to protest a funeral in OK, they had all 4 tires slashed and nobody in town was willing to fix them.

Did the wbc actually show up protesting? I didn't see anything about it on the news. Pat you are always going to have the sorry scum out there trying to take advantage of a tragic situation like this. The news has already had articles on scam calls and sites trying to take advantage. I bet the shade tree contractors have already started arriving as well. Unfortunately this is the world we live in.

I really feel for those folks down there.. I hope there is some kind of assistance for them. I also hope building codes are stepped up to minimize the damages the next time around.
Yes the WBC did show up, they just don't post it on the news. The State AG has already given the scammers a warning, he has special rules for them.
They have already arrested a few looters.
Seems main stream news isn't posting a lot of things.. Like all the Monsanto protests in 400 cities around the world..

That makes sense to me!! If you do not give free publicity to wacko fringe groups that do not reflect the attitudes of normal law abiding citizens. They will not feel rewarded for their unacceptable actions, and go away.

I can understand the WBC not making news due to its lack of dignity for those that passed due to that storm.. But why would it not make news for the protests aimed at Monsanto. We need to stop Monsanto till they are more powerful then the government.

I am not sure what the beef is with Monsanto, unless it is GMO seeds. My opinion is if it works farmers will buy it and if not it will be another failed idea. Since Monsanto makes a profit every year and the government just goes deeper in debt, they are already more powerful than the government?I can understand the WBC not making news due to its lack of dignity for those that passed due to that storm.. The beef with them is there is no testing on their GMO seeds..

Local news around here has covered the Monsanto protest but they really haven't explained what the issue was or at least that I understood what it is.
