huh/ I didn't see that ordeal that Ken went thru on his cylinders, but I just did the 2 on my twin post car lift that i'm getting ready to put up inside the garage. I couldn't believe how simple they were. in my case the rebuild kits were $30/cylinder; they want $935 a piece for new.... taking mine apart and seeing how little was "in" them, I am wondering W T H makes them worth $935 a piece? on mine the gland nut unscrewed and all the seals were contained within, no seals on the bottom end of the ram.

Update:
Fedex was here today and dropped the cylinders off along with a *few other things, quick shipping, and everything was just as ad states, look like a real nice product and packed well too.
* Hour meter and a 200psi and 3000psi liquid filled gauges
