We must be on the warm side of it which is often the case. These things are somewhat unpredictable so who knows what we will end up with. We always seem to be on the line between rain and snow with temps hovering near freezing. I'd much rather have consistently cold weather.

Yes, it's far enough from you, it could still go either way yet.

Right now it's not living up to the prediction, but I guess that could change.
Usually when we get thes storm that come up from the SW, it's big, wet, fluffy flakes that builds up fast.
So far all we've been getting is smaller stuff.
DougT, just where in OH are you?

Started with one or two flakes a min here an hour ago, now there's better than an inch on the ground and the roads suck.
Probably within an hour, I won't be able to see the parking lot at work. The snow's overpowering the salt.

I just made a pass up the block, and did the neighbor's driveway.
Was only about 2-2 1/2", but I figured it would be easier than moving what ever the total is that we get.
Besides that gives me more seat time when I make another pass...or two "D "D "D "D

I'm outside of Greenwich on 224. About 45 min south and west of you. I work in Mansfield about 20 mi south. There were barely flurries when I left this AM. Mandfield had had freezing rain and there was at least an inch on top of it. It's snowed hard here on and off this AM but we probably don't have much more than a couple inches on the ground right now. Down here we're in a winter storm warning. Up home there is a blizzard warning. When I was coming in it looked like the snow was coming out of the east.

What a disapointment yesterday was, nothing here, I had the plow all set up and ready to go. Looked like it was within 10 miles of me and just kept on moving east. Now we have to wait and see what Friday brings us.

It's at least snowing here now. Melts as soon as it hits ground, but I like to see it falling.

Well it started about 7am this morning and as of now we have around 7- 8 inches here and drifts in some places 3 feet deep. The wind is pushing it all over the place.

That's a big storm. I just checked our forecast and it says a wind warning of 100km/h (62mph) out of the SE. Starting as snow tomorrow afternoon then changing to rain and a lot of rain expected. I've got 80litres (40+gallons) of diesel and if the power goes out I'll get to use my PTO generator. Not seat time but tractor use at least. Stay safe everyone!
