Just an update to the great tractor forum. I am afraid Dale has limited time with us now. It is estimated that he has about 1-2 months with us left (DALE DOES NOT KNOW THIS!!!) . His liver is failing him and causing him to retain fluids in his abdomen, and the cancer is spreading as we speak. He is taking 600 mg of chemo nightly but to no avail. We have drained 14 liters of fluid (each liter weighs about 1 lb.) from him in the last 15 days.His blood pressure is in the double digits, for example, it is 74/44 with a 78 pulse. He has a low bp now most all the time. The doctor took him off BP meds due to the fluid dragging his BP down. Still this is not allowing it to climb very well. We are told his liver (where the tumor sits) is failing him. Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare to lose a great husband, father, brother-n-law, cousin, etc. Sincerely, Cheryl

Cheryl, I am SO SORRY to hear this news. I knew when I talked to him week or so ago, that things didn't sound good. I am still HOLDING strong in my FAITH in GOD to perform a MIRACLE in Dale's case. I know that Dale said he had made peace with the LORD and I am very Thankful for that. We will continue to hold Dale up in our PRAYERS ! I will also be PRAYING for Peace and Comfort for you and all the Family. Please keep us posted and let us know if we can do anything to help out.

I hope his time remaining will be peaceful.. I just went through this with a good friend's sister.. Only 2 words I can say about this.. Cancer SUCKS!

This is terrible news, but knowing he's made his peace is such a wonderful thing. My prayers go out to all of you. I've been missing Dale on here and sounds like he'll be leaving us all soon. Words fail me right now. God be with all of you.
