I had no trouble dumping the oil our of my recently aquired machine . . . however . . . is there a trick to filling the machine with the new oil.
I have an earlier modal that DOES NOT have the oil reservior under the seat.
Yes, I do have a new gasket and filter for my tranie.
As well;
How do I know when the oil is full?
How do I get the air out of it?
Any information would be greatly appreiated.

I think a couple of members have a manual for the 12 hydro, but it's not in our downloads yet. Hopefully one of them will be along to help with some info.

On the earlier models without the tank under the seat....look under the tractor on the left side. The hydro's tank on the top forward corner will have a dipstick. Take this out & it will have fill markings on it. Best to fill with a squirt bottle with a hose attached, or a small pump. Not easy to get to, but once done, it'll be a long time before needing done again unless you spring a leak.
Purging air is easy enough. Jack up the rear end to raise both wheels securely off the ground. Run the engine about 1/2 throttle & run in forward for a couple minutes, then reverse. Then go from forward to reverse a few times to be sure there's no lagging. If all works as it should, you're good to go.
