I do not have any things for my 3 pt hitch yet as I just purchased my 1655 and it only came with a mower deck and 48" blower but will require a top link and was curious to the length. model 2378 serial # 0043. The model I have has a front and mid pto but not a rear. You will have to bear with me as I am new to this tractor stuff!

Just saw your Post. Don't give up.
I'm rebuilding one myself because the left handed threads were rusted bad.
Found one at Tractor Supply that is to long but can be shorten and modified easily.
It has 3/4" thread instead of 5/8" which should make it much stronger.
I will get you dimensions and pics this weekend.

I missed the post too. I can't be of much help though right now as my 1655 is in the storage buried under a bunch of stuff. Hopefully it will get to see the light of day in a couple weeks. Welcome to GTtalk.

here you go. Mine is set at about 9 1/2", center to center of the pins. I would guess the range is about 8 to 11", full in to full out, center to center of pins as seen in pics.

This is your dimension full extended with 5/8" of thread engaged in the center turn buckle .
This is your dimension full retract.

The link in the back round is the one I am modifying to make one for a tractor that followed me home with out a 3 rd arm
