1967 Jacobsen built to homemade backhoe.

Great looking job. How well does it dig?

It digs pretty stoutly. If you want to see it in action go to youtube and look under 1967 Jacobsen built to homemade backhoe. Three videos number 1,2,and 3. It was all built from used material, pump, steel, hoses, and valves. Even the lights and wiring were previously used items.

Are the backhoe and bucket attachments removable? I'm thinking about doing this with a Powerking... there is a bucket off craigslist for $300 that I hope to convert and make work. Nice job!

Yes every thing is built off a sub frame design. I used all existing frame holes. I only drilled one hole for the pump. Look for ways to use existing points as to not alter the originality or structure. It's way easier to take off removeable attatchments than it is to remove something built permanant that in time that you may want to take off
