Ok you Lambet is the same as a Farm-ette 650.I don,t know what a squire applegate is,can you tell me?
From what I have been told Lambert bought out Farm-ette after they had a big fire.
I don't know how true that is but if you found red paint underneath it may have been a farm-ette at one time.

Thanks Chuck,

Farmette was before Lambert.
The Applegate was simply a tractor made by Lambert for Agway. This model was branded Squire Applegate after a gentleman who was employed by Agway. Therefore the color scheme was different than the Red 666 model Lambert. I am searching for the original color scheme for this model.

Thanks,
Al

Here are some additional photos of my Squire Applegate model Lambert. A fellow collector and forum member has recently acquired the same model tractor. Between the two tractors we have determined the original colors to be Gray and White. Gray hood and frame with White fenders and rims. The small traces of red found on mine are not original to the tractor.
A strange comination of colors for sure but a cool little tractor.
