Just asking a bit to see if anyone has one kicking around they are not using. My youngest son (the MF-8 owner) clipped a tree and snapped the main cast iron beam in half. It looks like it will be in the $40 range to get it welded, and he is left with a welded axle. The rule is, that if you break it doing something you shouldn't be doing, you pay to fix it... He was not supposed to be in the woods with it, and that is where he hit the tree. So, he was told that he needs to come up with the cost to repair or replace it. If anyone has one that could show up here shipped and be under the $40, I am sure he would be a happy camper.

Thanks guys!

With his help, of course. Might as well learn what happens when you break something.

Thats too bad. Did it bend anything on the frame when it broke? Those are pretty sturdy for a LT.

Sorry to hear of his bad luck. The young folks do seem to be a bit daring at times.I remember things that happened with my children, and now see what my grandchildren do at times.I have grown more tolerant as a grandparent and don't understand all of the fuss when they mess up. Most of all let your son know that he did wrong, that you still love him, and from your post you will help him fix HIS mistake.
