Seem like lately all I've been doing is fixing our vehicles. The one that has needed the most work has been my 1999 Ford Windstar that now has 199,250 miles on it. Since this summer, I've replaced shocks and struts, tires, radiator , hoses, and thermostat, head gaskets and all other associated gaskets, spark plugs, water pump and serpentine belt, and most recently, the fuel pump. The only thing left that is a common failure point on these vans is the transmission, but, knock on wood, this one's been OK.
After all of this, I've decided that Mr. Frugal and Mrs. Cheap need to replace the van while it's still worth something. I have my eye on a 1995 Ford F250, 7.3L turbo diesel, that has 70K miles on it. Went and drove it today, all looks good, and I hope to hear Saturday morning whether the seller will accept my offer.

Keeping my fingers crossed!

Yep definitely pictures. Is it a 4x4? Auto transmission or standard? I got a friend with a 97 with a little work done to it. Very nice truck and would love to get one but they are pretty pricy and repairs are very pricy. Looking at a 94 F250 gasser myself unless I can find a 1rst Gen. Dodge Cummins. Good luck on the offer.

Well, I got the truck! Settled on $6850, which seems more than fair. I'll pick it up on or before the 17th.

It's a 2WD, automatic, extended cab.... just right for my garage!
