A muffler heat shield support or maybe a bracket for mounting a clutch assembly? Put it back on the tractor, take another picture, and I might be able to tell you a little better what it's used for. LOL

Its the grill insert from a sears suburban the is removed to run the snowblower and such.And gets lost alot lol
