Finally picked myself up a Cub super smoker. She isn't real pretty right now but the d-600 Kubota engine runs like a swiss watch. I have all good sheet metal to get her looking good again. Couple small mechanical issues to take care of. It's set up like a sprint car for some hard cornering. LOL Her she is in all her glory

Not bad shape considering it's life of pushing poo! Did you get it for the $375 asking price? The engine is worth more than that if running like you said! What's with the fan....water pump out on it? I see a nice tractor there in the future! Yep, gotta love diesels! You know we expect video so we can hear her running!

Ron with any luck it will be at the plow day in Brockport. I have all the sheet metal to make it pretty again. Couple small mechanical issues to iron out. It needs the trunnion repaired on the hydro pump and will need a input shaft seal on the hydro. I will need another 26x12x12 tire for the rear. I am up for the challenge.

Oldcowhand the PO pulled it off to install a block heater on it and the fan bracket wouldn't fit back on. Didn't get it at the $375 price but very close. The block heater will be removed and the fan will be reinstalled.Maybe I will get one of them magnet block heaters and stick it on the oil pan. As soon as I figure out the video thing I will post one of the old gal running. It's gonna get hit the high pressure washer tomorrow and clean off 20yrs of cow poo.

The shield on the rear..... does it have rear pto? I'm not that familiar with these to remember what the pto would look like. On the older ones the rear diff was exposed & the pto was right there on the rear plate.

Oldcowhand that was the first thing I noticed when I looked at the tractor. Unfortunatley it is just a cover and no pto. Can't win them all I guess. Forgot to mention I got the extended warranty package with ths machine. LOL

You have to look kind of hard to see the potential in that old girl, she looks awful rough. Sounds like you got it for a steal though:thumbs:, keep an eye out for the police at your door:smilewink:.
