Can't really tell from the photo,but it doesn't look all that old to me.

If you know the specifications of the tractor (engine, pto shaft type, Brakes or not, differential,....) this chart would tell you the model.

Thanks for the link, I had found that myself and used it to narrow things down to a 605 or 850 as the machine has the 12.5 Briggs Vanguard twin cyl engine. Unfortunately the ad is not very detailed and the pics are pretty small, so not much help,,, guess a call is in order or a 50m road trip to actually see what the heck it is. Looks like the reminents of a power brush on it, with possibly a QH?
