No wife yet, but I trained my dad to look out for tractors. I have not had a relationship in years. All I need is a set of wrenches, gas, and a tractor.

One or more of those sounds like a symptom, (w/ a touch of Steve Martin in 'The Jerk'..)

Yeah, youre an addict allright! I guess if I was on me own I'd also be satisfied enough with the same things ...plus a couple cold ones!

Youre an addict when you pick up your date on your GT and take her to the dealer' parking lot for some romance.

When all your best stories start with ''I was riding my tractor the other day and....''
When you wonder if you could get a loan to buy a bigger piece of land, just to have more mowing time.
When you decide to decorate the barn so your GTs dont feel left out on christmas
When you move to northern Quebec just so you can use that snowblower 6 months out of 12
When your wife asks you to take off those greasy rags youre wearing on the balcony before you come inside
When you call the mayor's office to offer your services for snow removal
When you call the mayor's office to offer your services to cut the grass in the town parks
When you call the mayor's office to offer some advice on how those jobs should be done
When the mayor has your phone number blocked and gets an injunction so you cant call him no more

I know im an addict because today I had a cast iron part welded at the shop and I didnt trust them to cool it down the right way so I took some fiberglass insulation along to wrap it in, drove it home and kept it in the oven all day to gradually cool it down then left it on the heater for the night.

You can identify more than 2 brands by silhouette, across the lawn, at dusk, behind a shed in the tall grass while driving.

You are really incurable if you can name both brand and model.

OH!! Thats good ! Think about it, Thats realy a good one !!!
Sorry i been out of touch for quite a while

when it does snow i plow my neighbors on both sides of my out for more seat time

get asked by the neighbor to help him level out his back yard(old dog pen) and he offers to put gas in the tank,

drove around the block on my friends gt to my house cause mine was acting up and i needed to push some dirt,

you go to tractor supply at least once a month for something for your gt(or drool over thing that are next on the project list

you work on your gt more then your project car in the garage( all the time. maybe i should work on the car again)

you have parts for tractors you dont own anymore or are on the list to buy/find(hence the Gravely snow plow sitting out back, its for sale)

Addicted? Your not addicted!!! When you see someone collect something like 450 beer cans and has them all on a shelf in his living room, thats addicted. What we're all doing is perfectly normal and neccessary! Just a part of modern life.

At least, that's what my counselor tells me.
