hey everyone its been a lil while since I have been on here. Anyways my question is does anyone know if they make just a crank pulley for kohler k-series engines. I am not gonna be puttin a mower deck on it so there is no need for a pto. for some reason I cant get the clutch basket off without bending them., i have looked at a few websites but havent had any lck. I know somebody has to make them. any info would be great. thanks.

If you just want a single or even a double groove V-belt pulley, you can get one at many places including TSC, Motion Industries, farm equipment dealer, or an electric motor repair shop. It doesn't need to be Kohler specific, just fine someone who handles pulleys and they can match a pulley for your engine & V-belt size. You need to measure your crank diameter, engine crankshaft keyway width, the width of belt you intend to use, and the diameter of pulley needed. Arm yourself with all these specifics and they can fix you right up.

The pitch of the pullies in the WH's, isn't it just a little different?

You may end up having to use spacers on either side of the pulley to get the alignment right.

May be, but I've owned about 5 Wheel Horses over the years & used std V-belts without any issues at all.
