Came home from Barnes hospital on 11-10. First time I went there on 10-11 for a bleeding tumor near my gall bladder. They took out the tumor & got the bleeding stopped. Went home on 10-25 & went back on 10-31 because my INR (blood thinner) was too high & i had more internal bleeding. All internal bleeding is stopped & my INR is in range. After Xmas I have to go back & have a Whipple procedure where they go in & clean out all cancer cells & reconnect pancreas, bile ducts, & small intestine . This will take about 6 hours & my stay will be about 7-10 days. I don't know if my smoking before 10-10-2000 caused this, but if it did, please stop smoking now so you don't have to go thru what I am!:confuse:

I'm sorry to hear that John. I have a friend who went through the same Whipple procedure. It worked well for her. You will be in our prayers as well.
