well by friend has a john deere stx38 i think thats the model. It hasnt run in a year or so. He wants 50 dollars for it. I may go pick it up tonight

i agree....pics please. lol. Just about anything is worth $50 tractor wise. hell u can scrap it for more than that if all else fails.

There are quite a few of those locally. They seem to have been a popular model. Worth 50$ any day.

I have one with the black deck, earlier ones had a yellow deck.....They are good grass cutters, not real heavy duty.

If it's a good price, I have to buy it even if it is to sell it to someone else LOL.

I want to get it to use in places I dont want to beat up the tractors on. its kinda beat up it would be cool to have fun with

I have to agree with the consensus that $50 is a good price for just about anything. Best of luck and post some pics when you get it home!
