so....no paint booth here, nor skills w/ a sprayer. I decided i was going 2 paint the springfield w/ "carnival candy apple red" paint & that i was going 2 roll it on. now some are shreeking @ the thght of this im sure as my buddy told me im an idiot & will never work. so w/ a 2" , & 3" roller plus a small brush, i painted the tractor. he stopped over later & said, "decided 2 spray it huh?". this paint came out so smooth & so high glossed i doubt i'd even need clear coat. i will of course tho because i wouldn't send my kids out w/out a winter coat so why do it 2 my "motorized children" lol. :beerchug:

You can get a nice finish with a roller. The paint tends ot go on thick as well which IMO will yield a more rugged finish. Pic's are necessary I'm afraid!!!

Search rustolium with a roller on Youtube. Some pretty amazing paint jobs there.
Here's a link to one of them--> TRIUMPH STAG HANDPAINTED WITH COMBICOLOR RUSTOLEUM AND A ROLLER - YouTube

Firstly, I want to congratulate Randy, but add that I can't wait to see the Springfield painted up.

And secondly is to Gibby, I hit thanks instead of reply, so there's you a freebee, I do that once a day when trying to reply to a thread LOL.
