I found this on picture on line and thought it was quite different. The engine is a two cylinder double acting slide valve made from scratch . The boiler is a water tube with three drums and a separator drum. It is very fast and will go about 40 mph with a good hot wood fire.

I guess you can say, a modern day steam engine! They could add a few tanks and make biofuel as they work the back 40.
