With the guy crossing his arms and the number F14001
Does this mean this is a Bolens (firestone) wheel or is this tag off something else?

Was looking thru some junk stuff tonight. Scrap steel, odd & ends bolts and 2 wheels off something like a tiller. One wheel had a tag on the bolt (loosly) that had
"BOLENS DIVISION
Food Machinery
And Chemical Corp"
With the guy crossing his arms and the number F14001
Does this mean this is a Bolens (firestone) wheel or is this tag off something else?

I'm not much a bolens expert, BUT
I think what you got yourself there, is a very old wheel, with a bolens tag on it.
I think we should try to find out more info about it.:smile1:

Yay Doc Brian! Now how did you ever find that needle in a haystack?
Well, I could tell that the wheel was from the 50's/ early 60's due to the ID tag. So I pulled out my service and sales manual and looked for the model #. I got lucky as The cultivator was on the 2nd page I flipped to
