I have a bolens ht 22 and its very hard to start in cold weather,,  Its written in this topic something about cold weather starting kit, whats that? how does it working? when I am starting the bolens in cold wheather I put a tarpaulin over it and heat it up whit a heat fan, its works but it takes very long time,, It would be great to install a engine heater or a cold weather starting kit..

Don't know how I missed this.

My HT20D has a cold start 'feature' that I think a PO added.  The coldest temp that I have used the tractor was around 25F/-4C, and it started just fine. I'm pretty sure that it's just two glow plugs that he installed in to the intake air chamber.  They are wired to a pushbutton on the dash.

Here's a pic with an arrow pointing to them.
