I had posted sometime ago about finding some of the modified cotter pins the Bolens used for securing the u-joint to the PTO shaft.

I HAVE FOUND A SOURCE!!!!!

I'm needing some lift arms for a tiller and some front mount implements, so I sent an e-mail to Jestin at tubeframes.com to see if he had the ones I need.

I also asked if he knew of a source for those pins.

Well folks, Jestin replied..and...HE HAS THEM :bounce:

He says that they are priced at $2.00 each. I ordered 10.

If anyone else here would like some, contact him.

He didn't say.

All he said is that he has them.

Here's the e-mail:

Hi David,

I will check on the lift arms, I do have the cotter pins, they sell for $2.00 each.

Thanks,
Jestin

How 'bout some dimensions of these puppies? Might be useful on other PTO's.

Here's a pic of a u-joint with one of those keys. It could be the original one, but the ones that Jestin has are most likely the same.

You should be able to figure out the dimensions if you have a u-joint to compare it to.

Here's a pic of the one I just got with the front mounted shredder attachment I just picked up. It appears to be a bit different that the one in my previous post. I'll post a pic of the ones that Jestin at tubeframes.com is sending me when they get in.
