LAGT is the only magazine for all brands of garden tractors. There are some that do like a club issue regarding just one brand and also Red Power Magazine. LAGT is also the sister publication to Vintage Tractor Digest. They are both great reads.

I first subscribe to LAGT back in it's infancy, back around '01 or '02. I have the first two years. It was called something different then and it only had John Deere lawn and garden articles in it. The first year was 5.5 by 8.5 inches (letter sized paper folded in half and stable in the middle). The second year went to the full 8.5 x 11 inch letter size. I only subscribed the first two years so I can't really comment on the latest editions. But, the first two years had articles about snow cabs and covers, Brandon's story on about how he got addicted to this business, etc. I should scan the cover of the first edition and post it here.

Everyone else has taken the words right out of my mouth! LAGT is a top notch publication and highly recommended to anyone who enjoys our hobby! It covers all makes and models of garden tractors, is well written, and a lot of fun to read! I haven't read any of the single branded publications, but I did get the chance to meet the publisher of Cadet Connection at the Saegertown, PA show this year. If your a dedicated collector, you may enjoy that type of publication, but adding LAGT certainly wouldn't hurt!
