tiller attachment on my MH12

The tiller on my MF12 has a problem the tiller stops during operation i have replaced the belt and filled all fluid levels after reparing the front gear cover

I don't have a tiller for my Massey yet but I am guessing you have a bad bearing that once it gets hot it seizes.

I just got a tiller for my MF 12H and it does the same thing. I found that it was just the belt slipping. I replaced it and still the same. It turns out if you hold back on the engage pedal it works fine. I am going to put a new stronger spring on it and see if that helps.

If you loosen the two bolts that mount the engage pedal to the arm that holds the tensioner pulley you can slide it forword, the holes are slotted. This will put more spring tension on the belt.

May be try the next size down belt???
