I found one listing where he knew it fit the old round fender 110, but that's not the best of info.

A model 42 would be for 110 or 112 round fender tractors

I think JD calls that a front blade don't they. The spell checker on my MAC doesn't like "plow". It only recognizes plough as the proper spelling. I never use that spelling. How wide is that blade. You would need 48" min. for a 212 which is over 40" wide IIRC.

To John Deere, most farmers, and most mid-westerners, a plow is an implement to break up ground for farming. A snow blade or front blade is for moving dirt or snow. As said, the 42 blade is for the round fender tractors and will only fit a 200 series with an adapter kit. You need a 43 blade for your 212.

JD Brian,
I think you meant a 43 blade, Deere didn't make a 48 blade for the older 200 series.

TMO, I was referring to the width of the blade not the model number. I have a model 54 blade that is also 54" wide but that relationship doesn't seem to hold for the older blades and snowblowers.

Were are you ace69xxx2000 you may be able to trade or sell your blade, adapter's are kind of hard to find
I have a model 43 I woud trade for a 42 or I would sell a 43 but if we are far apart it would not work very well

Kenny
