Been piddling around my shop today. Had intended to straighten my shop, but I always seem to get sidelined. So I ended up parting the John Deere 110 (way too far to refurb). Took the steering wheel & seat springs up to Meangreen for his 430 project. We swapped out the steering wheels while I was there. His was loose on it's hub, and he likes this older style wheel better.
Then I looked at his 212. Looks like this 110 I'm parting has the same transaxle, so that means I have the transaxle out of the 110 to repair the transaxle on the 212 that is supposed to arrive Monday or Tuesday. It may have a broken input shaft on the trans, as the fella said that pulley wobbled real bad, and the tractor won't move. I also looked up part #'s on JD Parts, and the cases match!
Did some work on one of my Brinly plows also. Just a great day messing with garden tractor stuff!

Sounds like you are having an enjoyable day for a change. I'm glad you found a home for some of the 110 parts. Sounds like you may have that 212 on the mend before you get it.

Sounds like you had a good day tinkering around. Gotta have them every now and then.
But ya know, sooner or later, that shop has gotta get straightened out.
I did mine last week.

I did the same today.Tinkered. Discovered a few electrical issues on a couple of the girls. Funny, those issues weren't there last
time they ran at the end of Sept. Something to tinker with over the next while.

I kinda did the same thing as you except I didn't do anything in the shop, instead I was outside going through all the stuff on the driveway, cleaning up, organizing getting rid of unwanted stuff and figured out what I'm going to do with what I got. There's 10 tractors plus my 3wheeler on the driveway, some of these got to go.

Well it's been too good a day now, so gotta figure I'll pay for it tomorrow! LOL Wife & I went to small town nearby for Chinese. My fave (garlic chicken) was no longer on the buffet. I get other stuff & quite happy, then the little Chinese lady brings me a big plate of garlic chicken! She made it in the kitchen just for me when she saw us come in! I've been in there many many times, but not on any sort of first name basis, so it floored me for her to remember & go to the extra trouble, especially being that would normally cost me $5 extra for that plate alone. It's nice to be appreciated, so I returned the appreciation by giving her a bigger tip. She was smiling, I was smiling, everybody happy! After being sick a few days, having such a good meal was very nice indeed!

Happiness: A day full of GT's and a full belly with the promise of a nap.

Glad you had a good day Daniel. How's Theresa and Kaylin?

Teresa is still feeling a touch of stomach uneasiness tonight, but nothing bad...just unsettling to the mind after all our tummies have been through. Kaylins has done fantastic! She's always been a talker, but figured it would be quieter for a few days. But no, her lips never stopped moving! LOL

Hope Theresa feels better. Sometime when mine "linger", I try a piece of peppermint candy. Usually helps, but I'm weird.

As for KK, good she's back to normal. Sorry about the lack of silence, try caramel candy or taffy
