hello all , yesterday i bought what i believe to be a ford lgt 195 transaxle , i am pretty sure its not for the 125-165 series , but it has the same pivot points like for a sleeve hitch or a rototiller on the axle tubes like the 125-165s , but one of the axle tubes is longer then the 125-165s , and this transaxle has a brake disk and pad system , where the 125-165s had a drum and band system , and this one has a slip slide style drive shaft , where the 125-165 had a flanged drive shaft , any ideas of what model this may fit ? , thanksford pictures 225.jpg

That's the same axle as the other Jakes, but newer for the Gilsons, or anything that used the eaton 11/ peerless transaxle . Nice find.
The 195 axles have drum brakes on the wheel hubs, and 6 lug hubs.

i paid $20 for it and two 22x900-12 wheels and tires , i really only wanted the wheels but i figured it was worth haveing around , any idea what a fair asking price would be for it without knowing what shape it is in ? , thanks for the infomation

Hi Fordboy , are you going to be around on the 25th ? As I have a good friend that will be right up the road from you on turkey day and asked if he could pick up that trans-axle for me then? Send me a pm with your phone # so we can set this up ? This would really work out great . TTYL Keith
