I replaced the brake shaft on the transaxle and a couple of questions before I put it back in.
I removed the axle horns, I opened the transaxle and replaced the shaft and put it back together. I left everything the same way, everything looked ok.
The pulley on the pump is moving freely, I can also spin the shaft by spinning the brake disk, is this normal? anything I can do to make sure it is ok to go back on? Other than adding the oil (2 quarts of Castrol 20/50) put it back on the tractor and see if it engages.
Thank you

I got the transaxle back on the tractor, jacked it up started it and got motion in both directions, I'll finish putting it together and try driving it. Thanks for all the help.
