Hello everyone, when i got my "O" I noticed a few issues with the hood. One of them being, when you open it, it opens til it lays on the front nose/grill. Which has chipped the paint off the nose of the tractor. Is this normal??? Or should there be a hood prop or rod to stop the hood from rotating all the way onto the nose piece??

Yep that's the way they open.

You could get a long steel braided fishing leader and attach it to the baffle on the hood and under one of the gas tank bolts. The leader would have to be around 2 feet long though.
