There is no shortage of talented fabricators on this web site ! If looking at all this stuff doesn't make you want to get out in the shop, I don't know what will.

Thought this thread needed brought back to life!

I finished remodeling my 46C belly blade today to fit my 314:

HPIM3864 (Custom).JPG

I originally built it for a 74-112, but have since sold the 112 to upgrade to a hydrostat, the 314:

I had to make a new rear frame for the blade to allow clearance for the hydro tubing under the tractor. The lever on the blade is the angle adjustment release. Blade was made from a later model JD front blade. ~~ Lowell

This is a great thread. My favorite is the homemade crane. Very original idea. I wish I had something totally homemade - all of my stuff started life as something already, and I homemake the adapting of it.

Well, in comparison to the rest mentioned here mine is pretty ho-hum, but in my defense it was my first fabrication project...certainly not my last. My second project I modified a Bolens G9 to pull logs, I will post some pics of that sometime soon.

You might want to do a little searching, I'm pretty sure Chuck posted pictures of one he built.
That idea has been rattling around in my head as well. The store bought units are pricey.
