Does anyone have a 200 serie tractor with the 37A snowthrower? I bought a 37A yesterday for my 214 but it is missing 2 parts, NLA from JD. I am able to fabricate them but I would need some measurements of them.

The parts I am missing are the long rod for the chute rotation (AM32440 or #1 in illustration) and the bracket to support this rod on the tractor (AM31952 or #2A in illustration). I would need the length of the rod and the length of the bracket. A picture of the installed setup could help also!

Btw by "long rod" I mean the one with the handle (where the "1" points to in the illustration). I have the part that is on the snow thrower (near the part #19). Usually those 2 parts are made to stay together but I have only the short half.

Thank you!

the length of the rod #1 is around 41" from the end of the handle to the center at the other end
the length of part #2B is from the center that part #1 goes thru the the bent is around 12"
I would try to make part #2A out of 1/8" or 3/16" bar stock, it would be easier to make

I hope this helps you
good luck and let us know how it comes out

See picture below (better picture added). This is for 37A with hookup for 1982 214.
The support bracket is about 12" to the apex, is bent back about 45 degrees. Metal piece on end measures 1-1/2" by 3-1/2" by 1/8" thick. Handle and bracket are made from 3/8" diameter rod.
