Hello everyone,

Just wanted to say hello and am really happy I found this site.

Recently acquired a JD 318 from my father (think its my inheritance) haha. It has a 46" mower deck that needs a lot of work and is looking like a winter project. Also has a 54" snow plow. The tractor itself is in pretty good shape other than a small oil leak that I think is coming from the drain line. Since I just changed the oil & filter, I'm just gonna keep an eye on it until I change the oil again and try re-sealing the threads.

Really looking forward to visiting this site more. From what I have read so far, there is a lot of knowledge here.

Talk to ya later.

Welcome to the forum! We do have a few folks that like the JD's, so help is just a few typed words away. Have a great time, we do.

Welcome! I just upgraded from a JD140 to a 318 three weeks ago, and I love it. I know you will also.

Welcome Irish! There seems to be a few Deere fans around here. Very nice gift to receive indeed.

And just to stir the pot...
