Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a voluntarily observed holiday that commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín.

Kate's version of Cinco de Mayo: POUR me a MARGARITA!

this morning I got a shot in my heel (spurs) and I had to pass on FREE tickets to see the Goo Goo Dolls in concert tonight. This gal deserves a nice, frothy limey margarita. Wouldn't you agree?

REALLY? You don't like the Goo Goo Dolls? Are they the wrong era or the wrong genre?

Had a heel spur once...kept kneading it HARD (yes it hurt like....), but I busted that sucker, felt it crumble. Not had one since then.

Now what's wrong with CCR, Journey, The Eagles, Rolling Stones (still rolling, but showing age), and the list of great music of the day goes endlessly!:D

I am totally down with the Eagles and Journey but not real familiar with CCR. I like my country music but I love my hard rock, rap and hip hop too. If my tractors can be all funky and mixed up, so can my music! :)
Now when you mention Rolling Stones it makes me think of that heel spur you crushed...that's like a stone in your heel! YOU are a ROLLING STONE, Brother OlCowHand!
