While it's still warm enough, and I have nothing else on the go in the
eTank, I thought I'd tackle this plow. When done, it will hang off the
back of my MF16, if it's man enough to do the job.
Took it apart today, and started a couple pcs in the bubble bath.

So, I'm looking for ideas on a colour scheme, that it should be painted.
My original thought, is MF red for the frame, and flint metalic grey (mf colour)
for the rest.
Or, should I just put it back to original?

Suggestions please.

The red and flint would look nice, the OEM colors look nice too.

My vote is "your plow, your paint scheme" but can I offer one more option. A few years later than that plow was built, they went to almost all black. That would look nice with the Red and be almost OEM.

My thinking is, that if I'm not going to keep it OEM, then I might as well make it close to MF attachment/implement colours.
With that in mind, then all red, would be the way to go. But that's too much red I think.

I always like to repaint things to original factory colors but I think the the colors you , Alan and Casey have suggested would look nice too.

I like the red frame with black plow parts. The red isn't too much.

I could go for Red/Grey, Red/Black looks good also. I have a 10" that could use some prettying, but will probably stay with Brinly colors.

Will and Daniel, what is the diameter of the wheel at the back?

Hey Kenny.

That gauge wheel is 11" dia.
Since I've got it off, I'm going to borrow it, and try it on my 10" brinly today.
It's been really wet here for the past 3 weeks. Last week I tackled an area with the 10". Boy did I make
a mess. Things have dried up a bit now, and with the wheel on, I might have success. We'll see.

As for colours, lots of good ideas so far. Gotta mull it over some more.

I think Daniels wheel he posted is a bit smaller. Just thinking that would help in not going too deep.
Let us know how it works on the 10". Some pics of the brackets for it would be good, too

Will, when you paint it, are you going to replace the Brinly decal? I think I would, just so folks would know the brand of plow it is.
