Picked this up today, it has a 16 hp twin briggs, also has a set of bolens wheel weights on it and a sleeve hitch. The battery was dead so I put the charger on it and when i plugged it in it started to turn over so there is an electrical problem I need to look at. For the price I think I did ok.

It looks to me like you definitely got your money's worth there! Wheel weights, chains, and a sleeve hitch, are worth far more than you paid for the whole shooting match! Great find and an awesome score!

Drooo0000ling

Twin cylinder Briggs on a Monkey wards With variable speed standard transaxle.Nom Nom Nom.

They are fairly hard to come by.Most of the twin cylinder powered Monkeys from that era were Hydro.
And you got a set of NICE BOLENS wheel weights.I bet alot of Bolens guys are drooling on they're keyboards over those.:rolling:

That seat doesn't look to be original though but it could of been an option. The 6 Monkeys of that era that I had either had the Seat directly bolted to the fender pan or to a sliding mechanism.

Looks like an original Allis seat like was on the B series.
