I was wondering if replacing the shifter detent springs with the heavier springs, if that might snug up the shifter rails and make it shift a lil snugger. there not very exspensive but thought I would ask B4 I go and order them. Oh yeah its out of a cub cadet trans. My other question is, I know the blue cultivator spring forr the clutch requires that you have to notch out the brace on the frame for it to fit, dowes anyone know if the red spring requires the same? I think the red spring is a lil stronger then the blue, I may be wrong. any info would be great. thanks

you should use the springs that it is design for. putting heavier spring will make it shift harder, if you can shift at all
