Hi,

I obtained a power steering cylinder, hoses, lines, and control valve from a 1999 John Deere 345. I was wondering if any members have any tips, tricks, or advice when I try to retrofit the 345's power steering system to my 1986 John Deere 330. Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Caleb

Did some digging on www.jdparts.com and found this:

332 serial up to 595254 take AM100268
332 serial 595255 and up take AM107082
Both of these numbers are 5 port versions
332 used cylinder AM39310

335/345 steering valve part AM134437
335/345 uses cylinder AM118835

According to the diagrams it appears the column/steering design is entirely different on the 345 than the 332 and from what I can tell the big expensive pieces will NOT transfer over to the 330. I used the 332 chassis as a cross-reference point. I might be incorrect but feel pretty comfortable saying this with what I have found for you.
