Hey all, I came across this site while looking for info on my Gilson GT14E tractor. I'm new to the hobby, and love old tractors / mowers. I'm a firm believer that they don't make em like they used to!

I got this about a month ago. Great little workhorse. Anyone know anything about this model? What year was it made? It's got a 48" deck it super cond. also, but I use the trusty little Ford for grass cutting.

My trusty Ford LT11. Engine is a newer 16hp Intek B&S.

 Bud the Spud Welcome to GTTalk! That Gilson looks to be in amazing shape for an original! I'm afraid that I can't offer any information about it, but there are a lot of folks on here who can and I'm sure they'll be along shortly. If you could post the model / serial numbers, that might help to get more info too. Here is a link to the manuals section where there are several entries on Gilson models. Hope you find what you need there and then stick around and share what you know and what you learn with the rest of us! Thanks for signing up!

I believe that's the same as a Ford LGT14. The 83 and up Fords were made by Gilson.

Welcome, Bud the Spud. Nice looking tractors you have. * have a Ford, but it's pre-Gilson. Don't know much about them, but yours look real good.
